Best Situbondo Carnival (BSC) is an event grand fashion carnival held every year by Government of Situbondo with Dinas Pariwisata, Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Situbondo (now known as Dinas Pariwisata). Model showcase a design on the catwalk during the third Situbondo Fashion Carnival on November 20, 2016, in Situbondo, East Java, Indonesia. Islamic Nusantara was the theme for this year's carnival, which featured more than 120 models parading along Situbondo's longest street.
The event presented six sub-themes such as Ancak Agung, Ketupat, Guardians of Kota Santri, Wayang Kulit, Imperial Palace of Sumatera and Aceh. There were also special performances from Bondowoso, Jember, Lumajang, and Banyuwangi. Their performances also wowed visitors, especially the show from Situbondo that highlighted the "KOTA SANTRI" iconic of their own city. A group showcasing the sub-theme Ketupat appeared on stage in green and yellow costume and then followed by Guardians of Kota Santri with a traditional music playing in the background.

Meanwhile, the Head of Department (DISPAR) Tulus Priatmaji said "amount the prize of this event approximately 25 million rupiahs and the entire of the juries came from Jember, Banyuwangi, and also Malang." And the Regent of Situbondo also said "The annual BSC event this year could be more spectacular with all its creativity, could attract local and foreign visitors. BSC was East Java's best carnival and among Indonesia's top carnival. The BSC will have been listed as one of the top events on the Calendar of Events Situbondo for the consecutive years forward."
